For those who truly support their team with their heart and soul, for the season ticket holders who haven’t missed a game in decades, the tailgate party is their playing field.  There is no better place to show off how big a fan you are than in the parking lot of your local NFL stadium, hours before your team takes the field.  But when it comes to tailgating and fan spirit, a few teams and stadiums really stand out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/green-bay-wi/lambeau-field/detail/?id=615187366"&gt;Lambeau Field, Green Bay Packers&lt;/a&gt; — Green Bay, Wisconsin, would probably be the last place you would look to locate a professional football team.  This city of 100,000 is one of the smallest to have its own franchise, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in spirit.  Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers have solidified their place in history as a legendary franchise in a legendary stadium.  Playing at Lambeau is an experience all in itself, and watching a game there is necessary for any true fan of the game.  Lambeau is a fantastic combination of historical significance, amazing fans, and some of the best views in the League.  Don’t be surprised to see fans showing up in Green Bay on Thursday before a Sunday Night game to prepare, sitting in hot tubs on the back of flat bed trucks in the middle of winter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/pittsburgh-pa/heinz-field/detail/?id=208389296"&gt;Heinz Field, Pittsburgh Steelers&lt;/a&gt; — Beautiful Heinz field in Pittsburgh is set against the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, but the serene setting is rarely relaxing for visiting teams.  Whether it's the 6-time Super Bowl Champion's Steel Curtain defense or the rabid fans that crowd the parking lot starting at 8 AM on game days, there is a lot to fear in Pittsburgh.  But when it comes to being a fan, there are few better places to tailgate.  If you want to just join in on the action you can park across the river in downtown Pittsburgh and save yourself some parking fees.  But if you really want to be in the midst of the action, be sure to show up early at the north side of the lot.  Tailgating action at Heinz tends to extend from the north end of the parking lots to the edge of what once was historic Three Rivers Stadium.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;3. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/foxboro-ma/gillette-stadium/detail/?id=406050534"&gt;Gillette Stadium, New England Patriots&lt;/a&gt; — If Joe Montana and the 49ers owned the 80’s, and John Elway and the Broncos owned the 90’s, then Tom Brady and the Patriots have owned this decade.  Patriots fans are drawn from all over the north east, from &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Boston,-Ma/things-to-do/"&gt;Boston&lt;/a&gt; to Nashua and Nantucket to New Haven.  This eclectic group of fans comes from every background and makes tailgating at Gillette Stadium one of the most original experiences one can have.  There are baked clams, clam chowder, and grilled goodies galore, but what sets tailgating here apart from other stadiums are the boisterous fans that will go to any length to represent their team.  They’ll run around shirtless in the middle of a New England winter without a second thought, and after all of it they’ll be ready to cheer for their team at kickoff.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/orchard-park-ny/ralph-wilson-stadium/detail/?id=599538386"&gt;Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo Bills&lt;/a&gt; — Buffalo, home of the eponymous chicken wing, will always lay claim to the title of ultimate tailgating food.  When you come to “the Ralph” as locals call it, be prepared to arrive early, be as rowdy as possible, and remember to enjoy as many of those delectable wings as you can.  This season the Bills will host their first Monday night games in recent history, and you can expect that Bills fans will start showing up at Ralph Wilson Stadium well before the event takes place to prepare for game day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/166DD9A74BEFB8BFFE660064FACF94DA"&gt;Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City Chiefs&lt;/a&gt; — In Kansas City, as the last days of summer come to a close and Chiefs fans prepare for the upcoming season, the city begins to take on a red hue as fans don their gear.  Though the Oakland Raiders may try to compete with the “Black Hole”, the sea of red that every fan witnesses at Arrowhead stadium on game day is something that every NFL franchise envies.  It is a colossus, and from a distance it seems as though it is one single unit storming around what seems to be a puny patch of grass. There’s nothing quite like the sight of thousands of middle aged men decked out in more red than you’ve ever seen and screaming like little children as their team takes the field.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/74A53DDB430FAA8B1D16E29CBE1714C5"&gt;Cowboy Stadium, Dallas Cowboys&lt;/a&gt; — By most accounts, Cowboy Stadium is poised to become the new Mecca of NFL stadiums.  Just completed this year, the stadium is a testament to one of the better football franchises in the history of the NFL.  It seats more than 70,000 people, sports the world's largest video display, and has fans from all over the lone star state that descend upon days before the game even starts. The amusement park is something that is distinctly American.  No other culture seems so interetested in the thrill of being catupulted at 120 mph in an open air car heading straight for the ground.  Luckily there are a multitude of parks that fulfill our needs for speed, thrills, and fun.  Here are some of the best amusement parks to visit this Labor Day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/sandusky-oh/cedar-point/detail/?id=434300901"&gt;Cedar Point&lt;/a&gt;&lt;b&gt;, Ohio&lt;/b&gt; — Cedar Point is a roller coaster addicts dream.  This amusement park, situated on a small peninsula jutting into Lake Eerie, is home to the most roller coasters in the entire world.  The 17 different coasters at this 364 acre wonderland are bound to throw you for a loop.  If you’re into speed, Cedar Point is home to the second tallest and second fastest coater in the entire world, hitting speeds of 120 mph.  Cedar point also boasts four coasters with heights above 200 ft, the only amusement park that can claim that title.  Cedar Point has 75 different rides, also the greatest for any amusement park, and is sure to please the entire family.  Cedar Point also has two water parks and a long sandy beach which is great for swimming during the summer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-braunfels-tx/schlitterbahn-waterpark-resort/detail/?id=163731169"&gt;Schlitterbahn&lt;/a&gt;&lt;b&gt;, Texas&lt;/b&gt; — For those who enjoy water more than absolute speed on a coaster, Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, Texas, should be your amusement park of choice this Labor Day.  The park offers many uphill water rides including the original “Dragon Blaster,"  and newer iterations like the “Master Blaster."  Many travel magazines have rated the “Master Blaster” as the best water ride in the entire world.  The park also has miles of innertube rides, a water playground for kids, and tons of other water slides. Schlitterbahn has been consistently rated as one of the best amusement parks in the US and often the best water park.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/anaheim-ca/disneyland-resort/detail/?id=625405964"&gt;Disneyland&lt;/a&gt;&lt;b&gt;, California&lt;/b&gt; — For many, childhood memories include a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim.  This amusement park, the brainchild of Walt Disney himself, has always been part of Americana.  Though Disneyland may not have the biggest coasters or the most thrilling rides, the park has always been able to reinvent itself for each generation.  It’s an amusement park that you have to visit at least once in your life, regardless of what type of park you enjoy.  The park is constantly adding new rides, and with the addition of a sister park, California Adventure, Disneyland always has something new to offer its guests.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/elysburg-pa/knoebels-amusement-resort/detail/?id=250821212"&gt;Knoebels Amusement Resort&lt;/a&gt;&lt;b&gt;, Pennsylvania&lt;/b&gt; — The worst part of amusement parks has always been getting past the ticket stand.  These days parks like Disneyland and Six Flags have no qualms about charging $100 for a single day ticket. Knoebels is the largest open admission park in the country.  The park has 50 rides which are all pay-per-use.  In the end, you’re bound to save a lot of money at Knoebels in comparison to most amusement parks.  Even if you decided to ride the roller coasters until you threw up, you probably still would have saved money.  Knoebels is also a great place to take the kids for the day and is about a three hour drive from &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Philadelphia,-Pa/things-to-do"&gt;Philadelphia&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/carlsbad-ca/legoland-california-llc/detail/?id=495667248"&gt;Legoland&lt;/a&gt;&lt;b&gt;, California&lt;/b&gt; — After creating a hugely successful park in Germany, Lego built an amazing amusement park out of its famed building blocks near &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/San-Diego,-Ca/things-to-do/"&gt;San Diego&lt;/a&gt;.  The park is both a spectacle of engineering and a great place to spend a day.  There is everything from race cars made out of Legos to enormous reproductions of famous monuments.  Legoland is definitely one of the most unique theme parks in the U.S., and is probably the most complicated.  The many different sections of the park keep visitors interested and occupied for the entire day.  Legoland is also great for kids who often stare up in awe at what people have made from these little blocks. This season's contestants are diverse, each having their own skills and unique histories.  Here is an in-depth look at each of the chefs vying for the top spot, in two parts (check back tomorrow for the second half).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Laurine Wickett Hope&lt;/font&gt; — Hope is the chef/owner of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/45E80EB4119DBE25E3BBEB3BE6F8DCC7"&gt;Left Coast Catering&lt;/a&gt;, a company that got its start bringing fresh and interesting cuisine to the high-power dinner parties of the Silicon Valley elite.  Hope never used menus to impress her clientele, instead taking advantage of some of the best produce in the world and making different dishes for each occasion simply by finding the freshest ingredients from the market.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Preeti Mistry&lt;/font&gt; — There are a lot of perks of working for Google.  You have one of the coolest corporate campuses around, you get “recess” just like in elementary school, and you also get to eat tons of free food from Preeti Mistry.  Mistry is the executive chef of Google’s cafeteria, and though to some that might seem a dead end for a chef, the cafeteria at the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/mountain-view-ca/google-inc/detail/?id=550220594"&gt;Googleplex&lt;/a&gt; is just different.  Mistry is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in London and is known for integrating Indian flavors into many of her dishes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Ron Duprat&lt;/font&gt; — Ron Duprat has been an executive chef along the Gulf Coast for much of his career.  He specializes in mixing the flavors of the Caribbean, the delicacy of France, and the cooking style of Asia into a delectable and original burst of flavor.  Ron’s talent in spices should help him differentiate himself from the competition as Top Chef wears on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Hector Santiago&lt;/font&gt; — A native of Puerto Rico, Santiago is now the executive chef and owner of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/pura-vida/detail/?id=587801085"&gt;Pura Vida&lt;/a&gt; in Atlanta.  Santiago specializes in Latin flavors, but integrates South American grilling techniques and a wise hand for spices and peppers to make his cooking truly unique.  Santiago spends a lot of his time focusing on the process and experimentation of cooking.  He works on taming flavors and bringing them together in new and different ways.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Jesse Sandlin&lt;/font&gt; — A native of Baltimore, Sandlin is one of the few chefs this season who has no cooking degree or training.  Completely self taught, Sandlin was inspired to get into the restaurant business while working at Paragary’s Restaurant Group in California.  She currently is the Executive Chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/baltimore-md/abacrombie-fine-food-accomm/detail/?id=895711810"&gt;Abacrombie Fine Foods&lt;/a&gt;, an exploration into European Cuisine with a twist.  Sandlin is known for using fresh seasonal ingredients to create food that spans culture and nationality.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Jennifer Carroll&lt;/font&gt; — Jennifer Carroll got her start in the kitchen in California as a sous chef at Julia and &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/san-francisco-ca/cafe-kati/detail/?id=442449559"&gt;Cafe Kati&lt;/a&gt; in San Francisco.  After great success on the west coast, Carroll returned to her hometown of Philadelphia to work at Sonoma and Aroyo Grill, helping create one of the most popular dining experiences in Philadelphia. After a year at Arroyo Grill, Carroll took a job at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/le-bernardin-restaurant/detail/?id=579350174"&gt;Le Bernadin&lt;/a&gt; in New York, Eric Ripert’s famed restaurant.  Since then she has taken the position of Chef de Cuisine at 10 Arts, Ripert’s new restaurant at the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/philadelphia-pa/ritz-carlton-philadelphia/detail/?id=543372940"&gt;Ritz Carlton&lt;/a&gt; in Philadelphia.  Carroll’s diversity of experience in the kitchen should prove to be her secret weapon this season.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Robin Leventhal&lt;/font&gt; — An artist, a teacher, and a chef, Robin Leventhal is a jack of all trades.  She is a self taught chef, and was formerly the owner and executive chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/seattle-wa/crave/detail/?id=246314835"&gt;Crave&lt;/a&gt;, a popular restaurant in Seattle.  Leventhal’s cooking is rooted in the pacific northwest, with spices from her adventures around the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Ash Fulk&lt;/font&gt;  — Fulk, a San Francisco Bay Area local, got his start cooking in a small restaurant in Oakland.  Since then this small time, self taught chef has moved from small kitchens to the lower west side of Manhattan. He started his career in the kitchen at 16, working for Kevin Rathbun at Buckhead Diner in Atlanta.  Soon afterwards he moved to Fishbone under Chef Richard Blais, his long term mentor, before attending &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/hyde-park-ny/culinary-institute-of-america/detail/?id=667237622"&gt;Culinary Institute of America in New York&lt;/a&gt;.  He spent much of his years in college experimenting with different types of cuisine and interning under some of the best chefs in Manhattan.  Kirshtein returned to Atlanta to work with Blais on &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/one-midtown-kitchen/detail/?id=612295527"&gt;One, Midtown Kitchen&lt;/a&gt;, which become wildly popular.  He is now the Executive Chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/eno-restaurant-wine-bar/detail/?id=527863914"&gt;ENO, Restaurant and Wine Bar&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Michael Isabella&lt;/span&gt; — Isabella has bounced around from the best restaurants in New York City to Stephen Starr’s restaurants in Philadelphia.  But he found true passion when he worked at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/kyma/detail/?id=587765892"&gt;Kyma&lt;/a&gt;, one of Atlanta’s best Greek restaurants.  At Kyma, Isabella understood the understated flavor of Greek cooking and spent time in Greece and the Middle East understanding the subtlties in preparation of grilled meats.  He is now the chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/washington-dc/zaytinya/detail/?id=215815267"&gt;Zaytinya&lt;/a&gt; in Washington, D.C.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Jennifer Zavala&lt;/span&gt; —Zavala is an expert in the cuisine of Latin America.  She is currently the Sous Chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/philadelphia-pa/xochitl/detail/?id=628412892"&gt;Xochitl&lt;/a&gt;, a restaurant in Philadelphia that specializes in high end latin cuisine.  Zavala uses fresh ingredients and seasonal flavors to take traditional Mexican dishes and turn them into culinary delicacies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Eve Aronoff&lt;/span&gt; — Ann Arbor, Michigan, is home to the University of Michigan, some of the best college bars in the country, and Eve Aronoff's restaurant, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/ann-arbor-mi/eve/detail/?id=241533553"&gt;Eve&lt;/a&gt;.  Aronoff is a Le Cordon Bleu Paris graduate, and combines her love for french cuisine with the flavors of Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.  Her restaurant in Ann Arbor specializes in taking the “methode traditionelle” and making it into something exciting and different.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mattin Noblia&lt;/span&gt; — The only native Frenchman of this season’s cast, Noblia combines traditional French cusine with a Basque and Spanish heritage to produce dishes that pay homage to his roots.  Noblia is the owner of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/san-francisco-ca/iluna-basque/detail/?id=242122273"&gt;Iluna Basque&lt;/a&gt;, a popular restaurant in San Francisco.  Iluna is an experience in the Basque region of France, where Spanish, French, and Italian flavors and traditions blend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Kevin Gillespie&lt;/span&gt; — Gillespie specializes in American cuisine, the combination of meats, vegetables, and spices to make a traditional dish anything but ordinary.  Gillespie worked at the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/ritz-carlton-atlanta-grill/detail/?id=630630168"&gt;Atlanta Grill&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/two-urban-licks/detail/?id=365082205"&gt;Two Urban Licks&lt;/a&gt; in Atlanta, before heading to Oregon to become the Executive Sous Chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/portland-or/fife-an-american-place/detail/?id=217347921"&gt;Fife Restaurant&lt;/a&gt;.  He has since returned to his hometown to become the Executive Chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/atlanta-ga/woodfire-grill/detail/?id=203085493"&gt;Woodfire Grill&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Michael Voltaggio&lt;/span&gt; — For the first time, Top Chef is bringing in siblings to compete against eachother.  Michael is the younger of the two Voltaggios, and will have to compete hard to beat his brother.  Voltaggio has been trained in traditional European cooking while innovating and using modern techniques to create flavor.  He is the only chef this season to have his own Michelin star.  Voltaggio has been Chef de Cuisine at the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/naples-fl/ritz-carlton-naples/detail/?id=310193545"&gt;Dining Room of the Ritz Carlton&lt;/a&gt; in Naples, Florida, and at Charlie Palmer’s &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/healdsburg-ca/dry-creek-kitchen/detail/?id=595569781"&gt;Dry Creek Kitchen&lt;/a&gt;.  He is currently Chef de Cuisine at the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/pasadena-ca/langham-huntington-hotel-spa/detail/?id=874893845"&gt;Dining Room of the Langham Huntington Hotel&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Bryan Voltaggio&lt;/span&gt; — The older Voltaggio is chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/frederick-maryland/volt/detail/?id=b/1/67F56D0EAF119220FB84297FC5415CE3"&gt;VOLT&lt;/a&gt; in his native Frederick, Maryland.  Like his brother, he worked with famed celebrity chef Charlie Palmer.  His restaurant, VOLT, is considered a three-star fine dining establishment.  Voltaggio focuses greatly on his produce and seasonal harvests.  He uses the bounty of the fields around him to craft extraordinary dishes, using the specific flavors of each piece of produce to create original dishes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Ashley Merriman&lt;/span&gt; — Born in the northeast, Merriman has spent much of her Culinary career in Seattle where she is currently chef of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/seattle-washington/branzino/detail/?id=b/1/CB4333FB3C90455296A7EB5DA5DB4E5B"&gt;Branzino&lt;/a&gt;.  Previously she was chef at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/seattle-wa/tilth/detail/?id=451889596"&gt;Tilth&lt;/a&gt;, and &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/2AF3F5141AF270019E3A11BC3E101B7D"&gt;Butter&lt;/a&gt; in New York City. The next few weeks will consist of trials for the remaining six master chefs who vary from classically trained french, to home educed american temporary cooks.  Here is a breakdown of each of the masters, and where to try a bit of their cooking.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Anita Lo&lt;/b&gt; — Lo is the only chef out of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/New-York,-Ny/things-to-do"&gt;New York City&lt;/a&gt; to make the final cut, but Lo has a lot of secret weapons that should work to her favor in the coming weeks.  Lo realized that she wanted to become a chef during her time at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/columbia-university/detail/?id=352888960"&gt;Columbia University&lt;/a&gt; in New York City where she was studying French.  Quickly after graduation, took a job at a then new restaurant in Tribeca called &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/bouley-restaurant/detail/?id=646209825"&gt;Bouley&lt;/a&gt;.  After slogging for a year at Bouley, Lo realized she wanted a more formal education in food and returned to Paris where she would graduate first in her class at the famed Ritz-Escoffier School.  She would later take internships under famed 2 star chefs Guy Savoy and Michael Rostang before returning to the states to take many head chef positions before starting her current restaurant, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/annisa/detail/?id=540744208"&gt;Anissa&lt;/a&gt;.  Located in the West Village, Annisa is an expression of Lo’s contemporary American roots combined with her flair for french cooking and Asian heritage.  Annisa definitely stands out as one of the best places to eat in New York City.  It is small, cozy, and the food is fantastic and reasonably priced.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Art Smith&lt;/b&gt; — Chef Smith is one of two chef’s based out of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Chicago,Il/things-to-do"&gt;Chicago&lt;/a&gt;, but is the only member of this elite six who specializes in southern soul food.  Smith is also the personal chef to Oprah Winfrey, and has cooked for many other celebrities and heads of state including Barack Obama and the King of Sweden.  Smith’s restaurant in Chicago, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/chicago-il/table-fifty-two/detail/?id=643248826"&gt;Table Fifty-Two&lt;/a&gt;, is the self proclaimed home to southern hospitality in Chicago.  The restaurant is comprised of an elegant upstairs dining room with high ceilings and elegant decor and a more cozy downstairs.  Chef Smith’s cuisine is simple and elegant, taking popular southern favorites and giving them a subtle hint of class and delicacy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Hubert Keller&lt;/b&gt; — Hubert Keller was born in the Franco-German town of Alsace, France, and is the only competitor in the final six who wasn’t born in the United States.  Keller’s cooking is a combination of contemporary French with the spice and flair of Mediterranean cuisine. All along the US coast and in Hawaii there are beautiful beaches, undiscovered treasures that have taken millions of years to shape. Hanalei Bay has 2 miles of perfect beach set against the base of huge green mountains on the north shore of Kauai.  The water is glassy much of the year, calm and perfect for people of all ages.  The water is a perfect hawaiian turquoise and as warm as a bath.  This is the perfect beach to just toss around a frisbee or take a swim out into the ocean. The water seems to sparkle as it passes over the wet sand making for one of the most pristine and iconic beaches along the east coast.  But what sets Coopers Beach apart from the rest are the enormous beach front mansions that look out towards the water, each nestled behind a windswept bank and overgrown coastal shrubs.  But even if you can’t afford to buy yourself a palatial Hamptons estate, you can enjoy the calm that people find in the Hamptons.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/explore/south-padre-island,tx/places"&gt;South Padre Island, TX&lt;/a&gt; — Out in the Gulf of Mexico, South Padre Island is a small isle full of beautiful white sand dunes.  This one horse town is nothing more than a beach and a couple of shops.  But there’s nothing quite like the desolation you find in South Padre, the ability to sit down under an umbrella and spend your entire afternoon reading a good book.  There are few places where you can sit down and stare out into the beautiful blue waters of the gulf and not be surrounded by thousands of other beach goers. It is a perfect crescent of silvery gray sand that feels soft against your feet.  The water can be rough, but the sights and sounds of this beach make it one of the best in the Hawaiian islands.  Though relatively well known amongst Hawaiians and tourists alike, Hamoa beach always seems to maintain a sense of desolation.  Set in front of huge Hala trees, civilization seems millions of miles away from this place. It’s a beautiful stretch of sand sidled along the beautiful waters of the Atlantic.  Though the Cape is full of New England’s elite during the summer months, it still maintains its down-to-earth feel.  The beach can become crowded during the summer months, but this beach at the heart of the national seashore is one of the best places to be on the Cape. At the south end of the beach you can swim out about 15 feet to see fish of all colors, running in schools all along the coral.  The clear water will give you some of the most up-close and personal views of marine life, and many of Hawaii’s native fish. There are less than two weeks left before we celebrate our nation's 233rd birthday.  Like many other mentropolitain areas, the Bay Area will play host to a great number of July 4th activities, including summer barbeques, music festivals, and best of all, fireworks.  Here are some places in the bay area which you can watch fireworks from all the major cities and counties without being packed like sardines. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/alameda-california/tillman-park/detail/?id=b/1/C97B4B0146E64D73458880D5B4D14E83"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Tillman Park&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — Located in a residential area on Bay Farm Island in Alameda, Tillman park is a great place to lay back and watch fireworks.  On a clear night you’ll be able to see shows from &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/San-Francisco,-Ca"&gt;San Francisco&lt;/a&gt;, Oakland, and even Santa Clara.  Be sure to pick a spot looking east towards the hills and enjoy the spectacle.  Parking is generally available along the residential streets, but come early to get a good spot. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/berkeley-ca/berkeley-marina/detail/?id=834148678"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Berkeley Marina&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — With lots of parking and a generally uninhibited view, Berkeley marina is a great place to watch the fireworks in the east bay.  Though there will be lots of people, there is lots of space and you’ll be sure to find a great spot to watch the San Francisco and Oakland displays. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Berkeley,-Ca"&gt;Berkeley&lt;/a&gt; is also a great place to grab a bite to eat, so be sure to get there early and enjoy a good dinner before watching the fireworks. It will require a bit of a hike to get to the top of the rock, but the view is well worth it. It is often cold and windy so be sure to bring warm clothing.  Parking is generally available in the streets surrounding the park, and there are parking structures within walking distance. Though a long drive for most people, it’s well worth it. The amusement park, located in Santa Clara, will probably fill up very fast, but there are many other spots around the park from where you can watch. It was the vision of John Adams that July 4th would “be solemnized with pomp and parade…bonfires and illuminations (fireworks) from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore.”&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But in the 232 years since 1776, fireworks displays have gotten bigger and so have the crowds.  Which city has the best show, and the best place to watch it? With our nation's most famous monuments in the backdrop, the huge display, comprised of thousands of shells, makes this a serene place to enjoy Independence Day. This year, Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Neil Diamond will take the stage. A Red Sox tradition, Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" will play in the middle of the 8th in their home game against the Seattle Mariners, kicking off the night's celebrations. This year's show will definitely be one for the history books.  In New York fashion the show will be proceded by streams of red, white and blue from the NYCFD tug boats, followed by a fighter jet flyover. Roosevelt commissioned a huge stone carving of our nation's best presidents.  As said by its creator, Gutzon Borglum, Mount Rushmore is an ode to "the constructive and dramatic moments or crises in our amazing history."  Every year Mount Rushmore plays host to a huge festival to celebrate our nation's birthday, including modern Lincolns, parades, and special tours. Though San Diego may not have the tradition and iconic nature of our other picks, its one of the few places where you can sit out on beautiful sandy beaches and watch the fireworks. The fireworks will take off from many different locations at all times of the night from &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/san-diego-ca/petco-park/detail/?id=614530889"&gt;PETCO Park&lt;/a&gt; to &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/san-diego-ca/seaworld/detail/?id=252395587"&gt;Seaworld&lt;/a&gt;, but the best show to watch is the Big Bay celebration. As the recession has worn on many have lost their jobs, had to tighten their belts, and simply work harder for the same way of life.  But everyone needs a holiday, and in tough times taking a break can be a bit too expensive to swallow.  However, escaping to somewhere beautiful doesn't have to be difficult, expensive, or even far away.  America's National Parks are both affordable and easy to visit and are bound to make a great vacation destination for the entire family.  Here are some of the best National Parks America has to offer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/springdale-ut/us-zion-national-park/detail/?id=485999627"&gt;Zion National Park, Utah&lt;/a&gt; — Zion is an old Hebrew word that means place of refuge or sanctuary.  The Zion Canyon has long been the sanctuary of different wildlife, including huge birds, many different types of deer and elk, and even some of the earliest human civilizations.  The 15 mile long canyon dominates the landscape.  If you look down from the start out to the horizon you will see what seems to be a forgotten world, one closed off to the hustle and bustle of human civilization.  Zion is untouched, pure, and natural, something that’s hard to find in America these days.  But what sets Zion apart from the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/grand-canyon-az/grand-canyon-national-park/detail/?id=846633949"&gt;Grand Canyon&lt;/a&gt; is the beautiful rock that makes it.  The sedimentary rock seemingly changes colors throughout the day, and the green valley below is crawling with life. Set against the base of the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite is a land lost in time, full of California evergreen, clear streams, and woody forest.  It was here that the National Park idea was born, the idea that there are some bits of nature to perfect to destroy or to change.  Yosemite has one of the most diverse selections of wildlife outside of Yellowstone, and is one of the few places in the world to support all different types of forest ecosystems. Olympic National Park is home to many different types of ecosystems and environments, from temperate forests to snowcapped mountains to salty seashores.  It represents of what the west has always been, a wild and uncontrolled growth of life that spans all different types of climates and environments.  Olympic National Park is also a great place to take the kids for hikes, swimming, and generally exploring the world they live in. Walking along the forest floor, with these huge trees towering over you can be quite humbling.  Looking up into the blue sky as you sit against the base of one of these massive trees, you can truly relax.  Aside from the groves of sequoias, Kings Canyon National Park is home to huge pinnacle rock faces and dusty basins that make for beautiful scenery.  The contrast of the black rock against the white snow makes for amazing photographs, so its no wonder famed photographer Ansel Adams spent a lot of time here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.centerd.com/places/west-glacier-mt/glacier-national-park/detail/?id=1322916"&gt;Glacier National Park, Montana&lt;/a&gt; — What sets Glacier National Park apart from the rest of the great natural wonders in America is that soon, it won’t exist.  By many estimates, Glacier National Park will no longer have glaciers by the year 2030, and many of the glaciers have already melted away.  There is no better time than now to head up to Montana and see the beautiful rock monuments cut out by the slow movement of ice over a barren landscape.  Glacier National Park is also home to a huge amount of wildlife that is hard to find in North America.  There are many rare species of tundra wildlife that can be found in few other places. People have less money, the largest and wealthiest corporations are still struggling to get by, and for many Americans things are tougher than they've ever been. Whether it be dainty slabs of  foie gras cooked in a shabu-shabu pot, or complex nigiri sushi rolled with fine risotto and white truffles, Masa borders on impossible opulence.  More than just a meal, Masa is an experience in the art of japanese cuisine, and is definitely a spectacle to watch.  Sit at the bar and watch Master Masa make art out of simple ingredients and enjoy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/las-vegas-nv/joel-robuchon-restaurant/detail/?id=389749847"&gt;Joel Robuchon at The Mansion&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt; — Vegas is known for being over the top.  Whether it be Venetian canals, the Eiffel Tower, or the Empire State, Vegas knows how to bring the best of the world to its doorstep.  So when master chef Joel Robuchon set up his small and super exclusive restaurant at the &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/las-vegas-nv/mgm-grand-hotel-casino/detail/?id=678182015"&gt;MGM Grand&lt;/a&gt;, few were surprised, but then again few people ever get inside.  There are only 12 tables at Robuchon’s restaurant, and a seat at one of them will cost either $250 for six courses or $385 for 16 courses.  This restaurant is one of the few in the world that has a 3 star rating from the Michelin Guide which indicates that is worth a trip in itself.  The food is traditional french, and competes on the same level as many of Paris’s great temples of gastronomy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/yountville-ca/french-laundry-restaurant/detail/?id=450876545"&gt;The French Laundry&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt; — Founded with the ideals of matching countryside French cuisine with contemporary American cooking, The French Laundry has become one of the best restaurants in the United States.  Located in a small Northern California town in the Napa Valley, French Laundry is set very much like the countryside restaurants it is based upon.  Thomas Keller, French Laundry’s owner and executive chef, is considered to be the most lauded American chef of all time.  He is the only American chef to have two restaurants with 3 stars in the Michelin guide since the founding of the rating agency in 1900.  His other 3-star restaurant, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/per-se-restaurant/detail/?id=244158788"&gt;Per Se&lt;/a&gt; in Manhattan, takes on much of the style of French Laundry while adding in New York's own local flavor.  Eating at French Laundry is typically an entire evening affair.  The nine course tasting menu, priced at $240, often takes many guests hours to finish.  It’s not the portions that keep people in their seats, its the beautiful ambiance, the fantastic service, and the desire to savor every last morsel of fantastic cooking.  Not a single one of the 9 dishes shares an ingredient, and each is delicately prepared by a kitchen that takes time in making things perfect.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/tom-tuesday-dinner/detail/?id=685737454"&gt;Tom Tuesday Dinner&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt; — Tom Colicchio, of Top Chef fame, dreamed of having a small restaurant that served the best fare of the day ever since he was a line chef.  Now that he finally got his big break and his fame has exploded, he founded Tuesday Dinner.  Tuesday Dinner is only open 2 Tuesday nights each month and serves a different menu at each service.  Colicchio hand picks the ingredients from the market and figures out what dishes he can make with the best produce, meats, and fish, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/New-York,-Ny/things-to-do/"&gt;New York City&lt;/a&gt; has to offer. Colicchio’s restaurant is innovative, cozy, and at around $150 to $175 a person, extremely exclusive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/chicago-il/alinea-restaurant-llc/detail/?id=269563839"&gt;Alinea&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt; — Alinea in &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Chicago,-Il/things-to-do"&gt;Chicago&lt;/a&gt; definitely tops the list in terms of number of courses typically served in a single meal.  Celebrity chef Grant Achatz offers two Prix-Fixe menus to choose from.  The typical tasting menu weighs in at 13 courses at a price of $145.  But, if you really want to experience Achatz’s skills in the kitchen, he offers “the Tour,” a 20+ course menu ranging from rhubarb to bubble gum that will take you on a real culinary journey.  Priced at $225, the average guest will take somewhere around four hours to complete it.  The Tour is much more of a marathon than a short jog in terms of gastronomy, and if you love to eat then Alinea is definitely the place to be.  The menu changes often but combines contemporary American flavors with those of French and Asian cuisine. Urasawa has since taken the restaurant in Beverly Hills to new heights, serving the same high end clients new and different delicacies.  Urasawa, located on Rodeo Drive, specializes in food that both delights the senses visually and gastronomically.  The care and the precision of preparation sets Urasawa in a whole different league than any other sushi house in Los Angeles, including master chef &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/beverly-hills-ca/matsuhisa-restaurant/detail/?id=809182116"&gt;Nobu Matsuhisa's&lt;/a&gt; restaurant close by in Beverly Hills. It’s been 47 years since a young, charismatic President stood in &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/houston-tx/rice-stadium/detail/?id=615093119"&gt;Rice Stadium&lt;/a&gt; and said, “we choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”  Though President Kennedy would never see his dream come true, on July 20, 1969, man made it to the moon.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;On return from the moon, Apollo 11’s command vehicle, Columbia, was sent to the&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/washington-dc/national-air-and-space-museum/detail/?id=b/1/A33E0891EFBBF536B511300332C30F06"&gt; National Air and Space Museum&lt;/a&gt; where you can still see it today. Columbia is a testament to the ability for a country to come together behind a cause, for a single leader to inspire us all, and for the ingenuity of a generation. So here on the 40th anniversary of one of America’s greatest achievements, be sure to look back and what we have accomplished, and look forward toward what we have yet to do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The mission began during Kennedy’s speech to a group of young college students at &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/houston-tx/rice-university/detail/?id=860755313"&gt;Rice University&lt;/a&gt;. Rice Stadium was packed to the brim to listen to one of the best speakers of their time, not too different from our current president.  He promised that the 1960’s would be an era of great change and great accomplishment.  There he declared, “we choose the moon.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the following years America would work on one of the largest engineering projects in the history of our planet.  Kennedy’s goal was slowly made possible by the enormous Apollo program that employed 400,000 people and had the support of 20,000 universities.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After 4 manned test missions, NASA decided it was time to go to the moon with Apollo 11.  On July 16, 1969, Apollo 11 launched on the back of a Saturn V rocket from &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/kennedy-spc-ctr-fl/john-kennedy-space-ctr/detail/?id=401694807"&gt;Kennedy Space Center&lt;/a&gt; near &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/explore/cape-canaveral,-fl/places"&gt;Cape Canaveral&lt;/a&gt; on its way to the moon.  It would take four long days to reach the lunar surface.  For every one of those hours the astronauts were monitored from &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/712B6F14D400C1F116EC89C4C245932C"&gt;Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center&lt;/a&gt; Mission Control.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“Houston, the Eagle has landed,” were the first words spoken from the surface of the moon.  From 238,857 miles away, America erupted into applause. More often then not, the trendy, hip and happening restaurants are not the ones that you want to eat at day after day.  Finding restaurants with great food that won’t eat up your wallet is something of a miracle for Bay Area residents.  Even worse, traveling even a few miles out of your home town will leave you completely lost in a storm of culinary options.  So what’s a foodie to do? From San Jose to San Francisco, there are a plethora of amazing, hole-in-the-wall restaurants that even the connoisseur will appreciate.  Here are our picks for great hole-in-the-wall restaurants in the Bay Area.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/menlo-park-ca/back-yard-grill/detail/?id=618110381"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Back A Yard Gril&lt;/b&gt;l&lt;/a&gt; — Caribbean Cuisine is rich in spices while being delicate in taste.  The flavors of each of the dishes fuse together into one amazing taste-bud rush.  Compared to other Caribbean Restaurants, Back-A-Yard, on a slightly-sketchy street off Woodside Road in Menlo Park, is king.  The Jerk Chicken is cooked perfectly in the traditional Jamaican style and is best eaten with your hands.  Be sure to lick your fingers afterwards, you wouldn’t want to let any of that amazing flavor go by the wayside.  Back-A-Yard is not only amazingly tasty, but extremely cheap.  This joint serves large portions, and very filling meals that can be purchased for around $10.  Though the restaurant has no more than four or five tables to sit at, Back-A-Yard is a great option for take-out and a fantastic lunch spot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/mountain-view-ca/taqueria-la-bamba/detail/?id=834805863"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Taqueria La Bamba&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — If you live in Mountain View and you love Mexican food, you no doubt have heard of the ongoing battle between &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/mountain-view-ca/la-costena-custom-burritos/detail/?id=301899696"&gt;La Costena&lt;/a&gt; and Taqueria La Bamba.  Located right next to each other on Middlefield, you’ll often find at least a few newbies standing right on the dividing line between the two restaurants dumbfounded as to which one to go into.  La Bamba has carried the title for the “Best Burrito in Mountain View” by the Mountain View Voice every year that La Costena has not held the title.  For nearly 10 years they’ve been switching off holding the title belt with no clear winner in sight.  However, everyone has picked sides, and I will be putting my vote in for La Bamba.  Honduran by origin, La Bamba’s dishes have a certain pizzaz that you don’t find at Costena.  The burritos are big, meaty and absolutely delicious.  An enormous burrito can be purchased for around $6, and for many people it could serve as dinner as well.  But if you’re a true La Bamba addict you’ll finish that burrito and be begging for more.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/san-jose-ca/falafel-drive-in/detail/?id=103560462"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Falafel Drive In&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — This establishment has sat on the same tiny plot of land in a residential area of San Jose over the 880 freeway for nearly 50 years.  It hasn’t changed in appearance even after serving hundreds of thousands of customers.  The falafels have always been the same, and that is one thing that should never change.  This small, retro looking food stand is home to best falafel I’ve ever tasted.  Whether it be in a pita sandwich with a bit of Falafel Drive In’s signature hot sauce, or just by themselves, these fried treats are absolutely delectable.  There is lots of seating on wooden benches right outside, but don’t expect to get any of these easily.  Every day of the week during lunch and dinner Falafel Drive In is packed.  The best thing to do is grab some great falafel, sit on the sidewalk, and just enjoy.&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/mountain-view-ca/masas-sushi/detail/?id=101904688"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Masa’s Sushi&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — Sushi is probably the most expensive food you can eat by weight.  Typically, a small roll may cost you as much as $5.  At this small sushi house on San Antonio Road you’ll get the biggest bang for your buck.  The sushi is fantastic and the menu is very full featured.  There isn’t a roll that you can think of that these master sushi chefs haven’t prepared before.  The restaurant is quaint and the portions are larger than most other sushi places on the Peninsula. This war for the best cheesesteak has been going on between &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/philadelphia-pa/genos-steaks/detail/?id=543293500"&gt;Geno’s&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/philadelphia-pa/pats-king-of-steaks/detail/?id=121080964"&gt;Pat’s&lt;/a&gt; for 43 years, and the battle continues to be deadlocked.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/philadelphia-pa/pats-king-of-steaks/detail/?id=121080964"&gt;Pat’s King of Steaks&lt;/a&gt; is the undisputed home of the original cheese steak.  Invented by Pat and Harry Olivieri near 1930, the “frizzled” steak sandwich was invented, leading to the founding of Pat’s at the corner of 9th street and Passyunk ave.  Pat’s eventually started adding cheese to their steak sandwiches, putting their mark on history with the great philly cheese steak.  They were originally topped with pizza sauce, and for those interested in following tradition, the real original cheesesteak is the pizza steak. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/philadelphia-pa/genos-steaks/detail/?id=543293500"&gt;Geno’s&lt;/a&gt; is a more recent development, founded by Joe Vento in 1966.  Vento must have been audacious, opening up his shop right across the street from the “King,” but ever since there has been a question as to who makes the best cheesesteak.  The only tangible difference in preparation between Geno’s and Pat’s greasy creations? Pat’s chops up the meat as it is cooked on the grill with heavy grease, while Geno’s doesn’t cut the meat at all once it hits the grill, instead serving cheesesteaks with long strips of beef.  But the difference is always much more than that.  Households have been broken, and families divided over Geno’s and Pat’s.  In Philadelphia, cheesesteak loyalty runs deep through the generations. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Among other competitors seeking the title of best cheesesteak, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/folcroft-pa/leos-steak-shop/detail/?id=120464813"&gt;Leo’s&lt;/a&gt; has an edge as being named the best Philly cheesesteak by John Russ, the man behind &lt;a href="http://thebestphillycheesesteaks.com"&gt;thebestphillycheesesteaks.com&lt;/a&gt;.  Leo’s creations are enormous.  A large is 18 inches long, piled high with glistening steak and cheese, and only costs $9.  Located outside of Philadelphia, Leo’s may not be able to directly compete with Geno’s or Pat’s, but it does make a great sandwich. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another surban contender, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/16C1680057C4DB4E0717EFADDD4B7BA0"&gt;Dallessandro’s&lt;/a&gt;, has gained recent acclaim for its big meaty sandwiches on perfectly soft rolls. Just because it's the newest and most high tech facility doesn’t make it a great place to watch a game; it’s the environment that a stadium creates that makes it great.  Whether it is the historic nature of Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park, or the natural surroundings of AT&amp;amp;T Park, there’s always an extra intangible factor that turns a beautiful structure into a baseball stadium.  In advance of today's All-Star game, here’s our list of the best baseball stadiums to relax and enjoy the game.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;1.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/san-francisco-ca/san-francisco-giants/detail/?id=520023409"&gt;&lt;b&gt;AT&amp;amp;T Park&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, San Francisco Giants&lt;br /&gt;Sure AT&amp;amp;T park is set in an iconic landscape, right next Bay Bridge and the San Francisco Bay. But what puts this relatively young ballpark ahead of the rest? Games at AT&amp;amp;T are always packed to the brim, and no matter what the score the fans stay for every inning. In the salty air you can taste the sheer passion these fans have for their team. Watching the game at AT&amp;amp;T is almost surreal.  There are few other ballparks that compare when it's the middle of an inning and there's nothing to watch.  Most seats have great views of the open water, so if the home team is getting pummeled you can distract yourself with beautiful views of passing ships, birds, and sailboats.  AT&amp;amp;T also has a great assortment of food that is great for full meals or just snacks during the game.  But what makes AT&amp;amp;T really special is that there is almost no seat in the house that has a bad view.  Even in the “nose bleed” section you can get an unobstructed view of the entire field.  Be sure to get out of your seat and take a walk around the ballpark a couple times, find places with great views and enjoy the game with you fellow fans. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;2. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/boston-ma/fenway-park/detail/?id=647214543"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Fenway Park&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, Boston Red Sox&lt;br /&gt;There are no ballparks in America with more tradition and history than Fenway park. Whether it is the curse of the bambino, the Green Monster and Pesky’s Pole, Bostonians love to tell stories about their ballpark, and for good reason. Fenway is the oldest baseball stadium in America, and is one of the most beautiful parks every built. Though quirky and unpredictable, Fenway has a character that cannot be matched by any other ballpark. Everything is different at Fenway, whether it be playing on the field or watching the game, or the exuberant fans.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;3.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/st-louis-mo/busch-stadium/detail/?id=599538162"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Busch Stadium&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, St. Louis Cardinals&lt;br /&gt;The new Busch stadium was given the honor of hosting today’s All-Star game, mostly due to the fact that it's brand new.  But what sets Busch apart from the rest is its beautiful view of St. Louis and especially the Gateway Arch.  Any seat that faces away from home plate gets a great skyline view in addition to some of the most direct views of the field in all of baseball.  With the capacity to fit 46,861 people, and fans that are ready to pick up every seat in the stadium, the home of the Cardinals is one of the best places in the country to catch a game.  There’s nothing quite like watching the sun set over the gateway arch during the seventh inning stretch.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/bronx-ny/yankee-stadium/detail/?id=669655532"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Yankee Stadium&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, New York Yankees&lt;br /&gt;The new Yankee Stadium is a testament to how much money the Steinbrenner family has. Covered in marble and limestone, the new Yankee Stadium was made to look more like the home of the gods than simply a sports field, and at a final cost of $1.5 billion dollars, it is definitely fit for the gods. The all time leader for World Series Championships will always have an edge when playing at home. Even though the house that babe built is now being demolished, this new house built by George is a monumental step forward for the Yankees, whose old stadium, though legendary, was practically prehistoric. The new Yankee stadium combines all of the tradition of its predecessor with a lot of great technological improvements to provide a great place to play for America’s winningest team. Now if only it was affordable to watch the game there.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;5. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/chicago-il/wrigley-field/detail/?id=201059532"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Wrigley Field&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, Chicago Cubs&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So the Cubbies haven't won a World Series in 100 years.  Yes, pretty much every post season in Chicago is heartbreaking.  But something about these fans makes them keep coming back to Wrigley to cheer their favorite team on.  Set in a residential neighborhood on the north side of Chicago, Wrigley is more of a community stadium than a big league ballpark.  Fans from all over Chicago descend on this temple of myth and legend most nights during the summer to yell, scream and have a good time.  Wrigley is much more than just a ballpark, its home to a whole nation of Cubs fans and an enormous amount of spirit.  &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;6.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/milwaukee-wi/miller-park-milwaukee-brewer/detail/?id=577971021"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Miller Park&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, Milwaukee Brewers&lt;br /&gt;Baseball has become one of the most expensive sports to watch.  Watching a game at Fenway Park or Yankee Stadium can cost anywhere between $300 and $400 in many cases.  Miller Park has some of the cheapest ticket and concession prices in all of baseball and is one of the best indoor stadiums ever built.  Miller Park has the only fan shaped convertible roof that can close in 10 minutes.  Fans at Miller Park are some of the most ardent in all of baseball, and though their team hasn’t won a World Series in 27 years, the Brewers made their first appearance in the post season in 26 years in 2008 and intend to return to the top of their division again this season.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;7. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/pittsburgh-pa/pnc-park/detail/?id=615092681"&gt;&lt;b&gt;PNC Park&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, Pittsburgh Pirates&lt;br /&gt;Located on the North Shore of the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh, PNC park is the second smallest ballpark in baseball.  It has pioneered some of the enhancements that many new ballparks have recently installed, like a limestone facade (Yankee Stadium), perfect view (Busch Stadium), and old-style design elements (&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/queens-ny/citi-field/detail/?id=b/1/50F9BDC7837D1507B52AA7E4E92727A4"&gt;Citi Field&lt;/a&gt;).  Though PNC park is smaller and doesn't have the same fan base as many other stadiums, it was designed from day one as a stadium for sports fans.  Every seat in the house has a great view of the natural grass field. This art and wine festival is a great place to walk around and browse eclectic art, tasty food, and healthy living displays.  Who knows, you might meet some of the Center’d team while you’re there. Chavez State Park&lt;/a&gt; on the Berkeley Marina, the kite festival is a great place to spend a weekend just staring at the sky.  You’ll be able to see kites as big as houses in the shapes of dragons and other mythical creatures. The animals grow, breed, and change, the lake has new wildlife, or the light is somehow different that day. It’s worth a half-day trip coming from around the Bay area, or even just a stop if you are passing through &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Berkeley,-Ca"&gt;Berkeley&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Little Farm is a tiny but genuine working farm sited within &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/884FAA62DF4A9D939D30794F3A734B50"&gt;Tilden Regional Park&lt;/a&gt;, in the hills above &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Berkeley,-Ca"&gt;Berkeley&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/95CA54F743546704025B6651A0E52BFF"&gt;The Little Farm&lt;/a&gt; is not a petting zoo, but rather a real working farm where kids can witness farm life. It's still low-key and comfortable, and kids can feed the cows, goats, and sometimes sheep. Chickens, ducks, rabbits, and pigs are bred and raised on the farm, and occasionally short-horn cows are milked. The last time we visited, the big mama pig had just birthed seven small piglets. Older volunteer kids are around helping the full-time farmers, and my daughter watched them caring for the rabbits and other animals with envy and respect. My baby girl and the other kids I see there quickly get over initial fears of the animals, crinkle their noses at the smells, and generally have a great time.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Right nearby &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/95CA54F743546704025B6651A0E52BFF"&gt;the Little Farm&lt;/a&gt; is the path to &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/884FAA62DF4A9D939D30794F3A734B50"&gt;Jewel Lake&lt;/a&gt;, a one-quarter mile, easy 15-minute walk. Part of the path has an alternate route on a wooden walkway over marshy Wildcat Creek and through dense brush where you'll likely some see opossum, deer tracks, and probably a few deer themselves. Jewel Lake itself is more of a pond, but is very pretty and teeming with fish, bugs, frogs, turtles, and many kinds of birds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;b&gt;Kid Logistics:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are two flush toilets that are reasonably clean at the Little Farm, but no changing facilities for infants.  The &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/berkeley-ca/tilden-regional-park-berkeley/detail/?id=615144094"&gt;Tilden Environmental Education Center&lt;/a&gt; nearby has some, as well as some modest exhibits about &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/884FAA62DF4A9D939D30794F3A734B50"&gt;Tilden Park&lt;/a&gt;. Water fountains are available and there's a soda machine in the Education Center, but there are no snacks sold anywhere nearby so bring some food. The crowds are usually not too large, but in my experience it's busy around noon, just before nap time. There's some parking, but it fills up very early on weekends. Near the lot is a playground with climbing rocks and a slide and picnic tables with grills. The path from the parking lot to the farm is paved, but strollers won't work so well on the steep dirt paths near the goats and sheep. Bring hats or sunscreen, shoes not sandals, etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The path to &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/884FAA62DF4A9D939D30794F3A734B50"&gt;Jewel lake&lt;/a&gt; is partly paved and partly on a wide dirt road or wooden path that should be fine for strollers. Along the path there's unfortunately some poison oak. Make sure kids have covered their legs, ankles, ankles and feet in case they brush up against it, don't let them get off the paths, and know what the plant looks like so you can avoid it. New Glarus Brewing Co. is 100 miles from Milwaukee, but well worth the drive.  Their Raspberry Tart beer is a rush of flavor, made from organically grown Raspberries from Oregon and locally grown wheat and hops. Be sure to try their locally grown Wisconsin Belgian Red as well. Unlike Capital, Goose Island has multiple Platinum award winning beers that will dazzle your mind and your taste buds.  Their best beer is the Bourbon County Stout, the darkest of dark beers.  Black enough to pass for Saudi Arabian Crude, this beer has a deep dark flavor that coats your mouth. Deschutes introduced Black Butte XXI, a dark flavorful reserve beer to celebrate 21 years of success. Out there, there are good beers and there are evil beers, and the Lost Abbey, in San Marcos, California, is working on bringing illumination to those stuck in the dredges of bad beer.  In addition to brewing some really great traditional Belgian beer, the Lost Abbey also offers great community events for beer lovers and their families.  Be sure to try some of their seasonal beers and some of their old time favorites like the “Avant Garde” or “Devotion.”&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/cambridge-ma/john-harvards-brew-house/detail/?id=465617611"&gt;&lt;b&gt;John Harvard’s Brew House&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — Is our nation’s oldest university a front for a brewery? Maybe.  Do they make really great beer? Definitely. John Harvard’s in Harvard Square is home to students and tourists alike, where everyone can get some great beer in America’s self proclaimed beer capital.  John Harvard’s has won countless awards for its brews; so don’t be afraid to try something totally different from your typical drink.  Having a few good drinks should be the least of your worries at John Harvard’s.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/santa-rosa-ca/russian-river-brewing-co/detail/?id=223196957"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Russian River Brewing Co.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; — In the heart of Sonoma County's wine country, there is a lone brewery for all those who would prefer a bit of barley and hops rather than grapes.  Russian River's beers are made in the California and Belgian styles, blending old European traditions and some west coast ingenuity.  A long time favorite on the west coast, Russian River produces many year round ales and beers, including "Pliny the Elder", "Damnation" and "Blind Pig" Indian Pale Ale. A great pizza will have silky smooth cheese that doesn’t run off the crust, nor does it stick to it like cement.  The perfect slice shouldn’t be dripping in grease, leaving a reflective pool in its cardboard box.  Finally, the best of all pizzas will be made with fresh and original ingredients that tickle your taste buds, the toppings don't run off the cheese, and are not smothered by it.  In my quest to find the best pizza I have traveled far and wide, and have found my favorite pizza 6,239 miles away from Italy in &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/Berkeley,-Ca/things-to-do/"&gt;Berkeley, California&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Finding &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/berkeley-ca/cheese-board/detail/?id=102967973"&gt;Cheeseboard Pizza&lt;/a&gt; is not difficult, just keep walking north on Shattuck until you see a huge mass of people standing in line or people eating pizza in the center divider; you have arrived at Pizza heaven.  The concept is simple, “we only make one pizza.” At Cheeseboard, there are no choices, they make only one type of pizza per day, all day long.  You can order as much as you want, but there are no substitutions.  All pizzas are vegetarian, making Cheeseboard a great destination for every type of eater.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At noon on a Saturday, the line stretched to the end of the block onto Vine St.  Luckily, by only making one type of pizza, the line moves quickly.  However, this pizza is worth nearly any wait.  The best part about it is the crust.  It’s soft and fluffy, but still supports the weight of the toppings.  Its not so big that you feel like you’re eating bread, neither is it too thin and crunchy.  Topped with fresh mozzarella cheese from the Cheeseboard next door, the ingredients that go into a Cheeseboard Pizza are by far the freshest and tastiest I’ve ever had.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To live more like a local, be sure to take your pizza box and make a run for Shattuck’s center divider where you can find a nice grassy spot to enjoy your slice of heaven. Oliver’s is a casually elegant restaurant in the French Quarter with a great assortment of traditional Creole dishes.  Be sure to try the beef bourguignon, the gumbo trio, and the crawfish etouffe. The thick soup filled with a million different ingredients cannot be matched. This casual restaurant has an amazing $5 all you can eat menu with red beans and fantastic fried chicken.  The food is spicy and the chicken is perfectly crunchy.  Dunbar’s also offers smoked sausage, po’ boys, seafood steak, and many other specials. There were no young revelers on the streets of the French quarter wearing beads or having good times, there were no musicians playing jazz and singing the blues.  But through the trials of a storm that fundamentally reshaped the landscape of this city, things have slowly returned.  The old bastions of New Orleans made a come back, albeit at a steep cost.  Katrina is a story of great disaster but of greater rebirth for the crescent city. &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As Katrina started to roll into the delta, most restaurant owners skipped town hoping that their businesses would be safe from the prevailing winds and the coming floods.  But one bar, non-descript and tiny, decided to stay open.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-orleans-la/johnny-whites-sports-bar/detail/?id=408410322"&gt;Johnny White’s&lt;/a&gt;, whose tag line has always been “Never Closed”, has been serving the French quarter beers at 6 AM on Sundays for nearly 20 years.  So when Katrina came, closing was not an option.  The bar became an iconic symbol of the ability for the residents of New Orleans to come together as a community to weather Katrina.  Johnny White’s became a rallying point for the entire city, where people would come to grab a drink, get critical information from the National Guard, have a warm meal, and work together to keep the community safe.  In the darkness, Johnny White’s was the light at the end of the tunnel.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The first restaurant to reopen after Katrina was Ralph Brennan’s &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-orleans-la/red-fish-grill/detail/?id=951520337"&gt;Red Fish Grill&lt;/a&gt;.  One of three restaurants the restaurateur has in New Orleans. Brennan has become an icon of the passion and drive that the people of New Orleans have for rebuilding after Katrina.  Brennan didn’t single a single employee due to Katrina, and returned to his restaurants with hope to make them even better than they once were.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Three months after Katrina had passed, New Orelans’s prodigal son, Emeril Legasse, returned to his destroyed restaurant. But instead of cutting his losses and leaving the city that gave him his start, Legasse rebuilt and brought back his employees and customers to &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-orleans-la/emerils-restaurant/detail/?id=838510105"&gt;Emeril's&lt;/a&gt;. In a time when something as simple as opening your doors in the morning seemed like something heroic, Legasse was there to show that the city could rebuild. His flagship restaurant reopened, and slowly but surely things began to return to normal. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;After the storm had made its way through, destroying homes, cars, and livelihoods, some of New Orleans’s most iconic restaurants and buildings had been decimated.  For 17 years straight, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-orleans-la/commanders-palace/detail/?id=408433217"&gt;Commander’s Place&lt;/a&gt; held the title as Zagat’s Most Popular Restaurant in New Orleans.  The beautiful building that houses Commander’s had taken a beating.  It took over a year to bring it back to form, and over $8.5 million.  After all the blood, sweat and tears, Commander’s opened again with a bang and returned to its traditional place at the top of the rankings in its old home. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;For all the progress, there are still setbacks.  New Orleans is now home to 200,000 less residents than before the storm.  Many refused to move back, in fear of another crushing huricane coming from the gulf.  But as more and more businesses open their doors to a new day, more and more people make plans to return.  New Orleans is experiencing a great renaissance, bringing back the old traditions while also making new ones. It has to have the right ambiance, it has to feel romantic, and most important, the food has to be good.  But finding inspiration and places to go can be easy as going to your local Blockbuster and renting a few romantic comedies.  Here are a selection of great restaurants from the Hollywood romantic playbook. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In &lt;i&gt;You’ve Got Mail&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/cafe-lalo/detail/?id=807073705"&gt;Café Lalo&lt;/a&gt; is where Meg Ryan and Tom Hank’s characters first meet.  Ryan, sitting at one of Lalo’s tiny coffee tables, waits with roses in hand for her blind date, Mr. NY152, played by Hanks.  A hugely popular café even before &lt;i&gt;You’ve Got Mail&lt;/i&gt;, Lalo is a great place to spend an afternoon.  Unlike the multitude of Starbucks locations that spot New York City, Lalo is quaint and local.  Maybe waiting here, sipping on a warm mocha, with roses in hand, will help you find that perfect someone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Hollywood portrayed Tom Cruise in &lt;i&gt;Top Gun&lt;/i&gt; as “Maverick”, the rebel with an attitude.  Of course, if you’re a rebel you’re not going to take your girl to a normal restaurant, but instead the casual and fun &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/business/profile/?id=b/1/1820A5976AC40B3C7C85DE472AFFAD7A"&gt;Kansas City BBQ&lt;/a&gt;.  In the movie, Cruise starts singing “She’s Lost that Loving Feeling” with his wingman Goose to love interest “Charlie” played by Kelly McGillis in this iconic bar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In &lt;i&gt;Serendipity&lt;/i&gt; John Cusak and Kate Beckinsdale’s characters eat dinner at the restaurant of the same name.  &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/serendipity/detail/?id=8884389"&gt;Serendipity&lt;/a&gt; is the aptitude for making desireable discoveries by accident.  Though Serendipity 3's location on the Upper East Side may not make it an unlikely discovery, it is a great place to eat.  The menu is made up of all things tasty, from fantastic fish to classic sandwiches.  It’s a great place to enjoy a tasty meal with your date, and if you run out of conversation starters you can always talk about the brightly colored fixtures and oversized clock that line the walls of the restaurant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Love, according to Hollywood, is often embodied in big gestures.  In &lt;i&gt;Sleepless in Seattle&lt;/i&gt;, Meg Ryan’s character looks out the window from the beautiful &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/rainbow-room-restaurant/detail/?id=540741949"&gt;Rainbow Room&lt;/a&gt; at a huge heart on the Empire State building.  It is then that she leaves her dinner date and runs off to meet Tom Hanks and his kid on the sky deck.  Had Ryan stayed and finished her meal at the Rainbow Room, she probably would have been treated to a fantastic meal and a fantastic view from the top of &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/rockefeller-center-info-line/detail/?id=352726061"&gt;Rockefeller plaza&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Sometimes, Hollywood takes away all the glam and the glitter, and strings together a romance that is simple.  &lt;i&gt;When Harry Met Sally&lt;/i&gt; is a prime example of romance for the rest of us.  In one of the most famous scenes from the movie, Harry and Sally played by Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan, are sitting in &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/katzs-delicatessen-inc/detail/?id=112866645"&gt;Katz’s Delicatessen&lt;/a&gt;.  This deli has been serving Manhattan since 1888, and is a great place to get something good to eat without having to dress up. Passed down from Austrian and German immigrants, the hot dog is by far one of America’s favorite foods.  But what makes a hot dog great isn’t just how its put together or what garnishes are used, but where its made.  When it comes down to the best hot dogs in the United States there will always be contention, but here are some of the best places in the country to get yourself that perfect dog. &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york-ny/grays-papaya/detail/?id=113572663"&gt;Gray’s Papaya&lt;/a&gt; — Finding a tasty hot dog in &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/new-york,-ny/things-to-do/"&gt;New York City&lt;/a&gt; is as easy as walking to the nearest street corner and grabbing your favorite condiments.  But, what separates good from great is how long that dog had to endure sitting in the oddly grey water of the local street vendor.  For dogs fresh off the grill, Gray’s Papaya is a great place to enjoy the eclectic combination of hot dogs and tropical fruit juice.  Though seemingly on opposite ends of the spectrum, the two flavors really work well together.  Not to mention, hot dogs must be eaten in shops covered in brightly colored signage declaring “Let’s be frank…buy our furters.”&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/chicago-il/hot-dougs-inc/detail/?id=569138217"&gt;Hot Doug’s&lt;/a&gt; — The Chicago dog is simply in a class of its own.  The trimmings and condiments must be perfect, and there can be no substitution.  You will find no ketchup in a Chicago hot dog shop so don’t bother asking.  But, the Chicago dog is one of the best combinations of flavor ever created by man.  Hot Doug’s is the best place in &lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/chicago,-il/things-to-do/"&gt;Chicago&lt;/a&gt; to eat one of these Midwestern delicacies, so don’t miss out.  If you’re not in the mood for the Chicago, then be sure to try any of Hot Doug’s celebrity dogs, like The Elvis, smoked and savory — just like the king. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/brooklyn-ny/nathans-famous/detail/?id=459033486"&gt;Nathan’s Famous&lt;/a&gt; — This is where it all began, on Coney Island, the start of America’s hot dog craze.  Nathan Handwerker, Nathan’s namesake, opened a shop on the corner of Surf and Stillwell selling hot dogs for five cents. But with time, Nathan’s has grown into a national powerhouse of the hot dog.  It would be heretical to not try one of these dogs.  Nathan’s is also famous for the July 4th hot dog eating contest, where current champion Joey Chestnut will try to defend his title against rival Takeru Kobayashi. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/clifton-nj/rutts-hut/detail/?id=110464724"&gt;Rutt’s Hut&lt;/a&gt; — New Jersey has always had a tough situation.  Not quite part of New York or Pennsylvania, New Jersey needed a way to set its dog apart.  Somewhere along the line, a frankfurter was dropped in a fryer and the rest is history.  Rutt’s Hut in Clifton is one of the best places to enjoy one of these objects of gastronomic delight.  Though a fried hot dog is not exactly the healthiest option, it is one of the tastiest foods you can eat. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.centerd.com/places/portland-or/ottos-sausage-kitchen-meat/detail/?id=105697213"&gt;Otto’s Sausage Kitchen&lt;/a&gt; — Portland isn’t often the first place you think of when it comes to the hot dog.  But Otto’s can compete with the best.  Its hot dogs are far more traditional, made with local meat and made in the German tradition.  Otto’s offers 50 different type of sausages to try. Rarely do these three populations meet, but at Pink’s studio heads, starving actors, business executives and mail boys all meet in pursuit of Los Angeles’s greatest hot dog.  Whether you like it traditional or a little more eclectic, Pink’s has something for everyone.
